Hot Mama to be!

Hello, Happy Mother's Day to all the mummies out there. Yesterday my hubby gave me a nice bunch of flowers and my kids are going to cook me a pancake this morning he he I'm going to looove that  :)  

Thought I would post this card now, before I go to sleep, as not sure if I would be able to do it during the day and definitely didn't want to miss another day without making a post! Was again so busy on Saturday, not making cards though this time, but doing housework...... We had some awful windy weather this week, raining reddish sand, so everywhere was a real big mess... just had to do a big clean up!

Anyways, thought this card would be just perfect for today. It was one of the cards I was busy making this week. The stamp is one of the newest from Some Odd Girl and I just had to get it... so cute.

I coloured her with my promarkers, paper pieced her top, and I did the sentiment on the computer myself. To do the embossing I used my cuttlebug folder and not to leave part of the card without embossing, since the folder isn't square, I rerun the card from the other side and then hid the part where the swirls do not match, with the ribbon! Hope you like it.

I am so tired today! Yesterday I stayed up to finish some cards I had to do and was enjoying myself so much that I didn't realise what the time was until it was ......errmmm ..... 4am !!!  woops..  what would have I done without coffee ha ha

Love is in the Air

Hi, I got a quick card today, and a quick post as well, because I am so busy this week... I even didn't post anything yesterday !!  and haven't even been able to do all my visits, so my apologies.. but I got me some ordered cards to do for this week.. . he he not very often .. so really excited about it :-) 

This is one of them, this friend wanted to give a card to her future husband as they get married, and she wanted the colours I used on my card. She also didn't want anything bulky on the card so that she would be able to put it in the photo album ... This is what I came up with.. a quickie one, but she loved it.

For my card I used my LOTV stamp, which I coloured with my promarkers, paper from a magazine freebie, and my MS punch for the flower and leaves.

 Some ribbon, hearts and a charm to finish it off.

A Shaker Card

Hello, good morning, I have a Wedding Card today and it's my DT Card for today's Stamp Fairy Challenge. Yes, as from this week I am on the Monday Team and so I'll be having some fun with the Challenges now. ... .. and wow did I start with a big challenge.. we had to do a SHAKER CARD today .. and it's the first time I am trying one of these cards!! .. .but so easy to do.. and then the shaking part is so fun ha ha  :) .. you really have to have a go with these.

If you've never tried one, Netty has made a fab tutorial for us, it's here if you'd like to have a go.

For my card I decided to use Lenny & Linda Wedding again.. but this time decided to colour them lighter for a change. For the background I used my Papermania swirly and flower stamp and I did the sentiment myself. 

Here is a close up of the shaking part ... I filled it up with lots of punched little papers which I was collecting from all the punching I do ha ha..

Embossing with OSAAT

Hello, happy 1st of May to everyone.. now don't I wish 1st of May was tomorrow instead... I would have had the day off if it was!! That would have been nice .. .. .. 

.. but let's get to what you've come here for .. something definitely more fun!

Today I have my DT card for this week's challenge at OSAAT and as you might have already noticed.. this week we want to see EMBOSSING on your cards. To do my card I got to choose from one of Kelly's Kids fabulously cute digis .. in fact I really had a hard time to choose .. go have a look you will be so happy you did .....

.. and so finally I chose Mani .. so fun to colour with my promarkers, I did the embossing with my Cuttlebug embossing folder and cut the flowers with my CREAlies die.
