Hi all, another sunny and hot day here in Malta ... just perfect for a day at the beach! In fact this week it's the third time I'm going, went again yesterday, and going again today :) So I thought I would post this card now before we go.
Quite a simple card again, I used one of my Stamp Fairy images today, Muffins Summerdaze, papers are again from my Me and My Big Ideas Paper Pack, image coloured with my promarkers, border punch is Fiskars, and the sentiment is from Just Wordz.
I followed this sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday, who this week are being sponsored by Stamp Fairy,
I certainly never imagined getting back to making cards was going to be so difficult! ... I'm taking hours to make a card as I just don't like anything I do, it is so frustrating... hope this fixes soon ha ha
Anyway, this is a card I managed to do, and it's my DT card for this week's Crafty Sentiments Challenge. For this week we want to see STITCHING on your projects and so for my card I added some faux stitching.
The image that I used is Dressing the Christmas Tree from this month's Crafty Sentiments release and the green background paper is also from Crafty Sentiments; striped one is from my stash.
I coloured the image with my promarkers, stars cut with my Die-Namics die, lovely ribbon from Debby.
Before I go I want to tell you about another release Crafty Sentiments are having this month on 21st July.. which is next Thursday. It is called HAPPY EVER AFTER. Doesn't Primrose look adorable...
Well I decided to head off to the beach now, it is so hot here.. 35C... a pool in our back yard would have been lovely today ...
By the way, I have picked up the winners of my candy on Monday, still two unclaimed.. is it you ?? AND I also got some exciting news now as well. My son just received the results of the O Level Exams and he passed all eleven subjects he sat for :)) Wooo hoooo .. we are all so happy and so pleased at the moment :)
Hello, here I am finally with my Candy Winners .. he he the word 'finally' has been sprouting up so much lately!! So sorry I took so long, but better late than never I think. ... and still I don't like me being so late, so I just decided to pick three more winners to receive some surprise goodies for me :)
Congrats girls, hope you enjoy and thank you to everyone who joined in, for following me and to everyone for coming back to say hello after being MIA for so long :) ... I just wish I could have picked more winners!
I'm off to visit my mum today and take son to football as well.
The winners please don't forget to leave your contact details.
Hello good morning. We are heading off to the beach today so I am scheduling my post before we go. ... a quickie post, as hubby is not pleased with me wooopssss....
Anyway, I got my DT card for this week's challenge at OSAAT. The theme this week is ANYTHING GOES.... just right for me at the moment he he :)
For my card I was so lucky to get to choose from one of Kelly's Kids super gorgeous images and so I chose Adult Sun Fun .. lovely Summery image.
A very simple card I did, my crafty skills just seem to have vanished with the zombies on World War Z he he ... The paper is from Me and My Big Ideas Paper pack and the corner stamp is from LOTV, one of my purchases before I started the filming.
Hello everyone. Yay it's good to be back in blogland and so lovely to sleep in today. .. pity I had so much housework to do and had to wake up, 'cos I would have slept all morning he he. Anyway, most of it done now ... still some more to go, but for now I got a card which I made for this week's new challenge at Sweet Stampin'.
The theme for this week is CUTE and CUDDLY and for my card today I used Afternoon Nap Time from Di's Digi Downloads, who is our sponsor this week.
Di had very kindly offered all the DT girls to choose an image to play with this week; thank you Di, loved making my card with this sweet image, and I quickly had chosen this as it reminded me of my sister's cats and dog... I think I will be giving this card to her now :)
Didn't have time to check out any challenges yet .. so not entering any for now... and will hopefully be back with my candy winners.
Yes.. I am! Today was the last day of filming of the World War Z Main Unit in Malta, and since I was working mostly in this unit, today was my last day! I don't know if I am relieved or not, because it was definitely very very tiring as we had lots of running away from zombies and waking up very very early and arriving home late. I know for sure though that I am still going to miss it as it was a very exciting experience for me, even though at times it was also boring, when we had to wait long hours until we are called, but still I would have done it all over again!
I just hope now that I will be able to spot myself in the film..
.. couldn't spot me anywhere though in these photos and videos that I found on the internet, taken by paparazzi by the looks of it!
These are in Marsa. Here he complimented us and everyone clapped and cheered !!
One of the many running scenes.
In Marsa as well.
And in Valletta... another running scene.
These photos we took today... not with Brad Pitt unfortunately.. his Security Guards guarded him very closely, so we just had fun taking photos together and with some of the Crew and Crowd Marshalls.
With Diane, my new friend, and Haitimi at the airport hangar.
Haitimi was one of the important guys who directed us where to stay and what to do etc.
In the aeroplane..... I was on the very very background. No chance of seeing myself here!
With Remy, another of my new friends and Dan, another important crew member, and more Extras.
One of the Crowd Marshalls. This one caught me and another Extra taking ice-cream from the Crew Area he he ... was really angry with us woops, but of course he was ok afterwards.
At the Airport Runway, today as well ..
... while waiting for the 'Action' call-out.
Another Crowd Marshall, Sean
and with more Extras, Chantelle, Diane and Catherine, and more Crowd Marshalls, Jason, Alan and David.
Don't know this one's name!
With Diane and Christian, nice boy.
One last photo before going home today, with Louise and Julian, more Crew members.
Some more photos, taken on previous days these. This one of the Market Scene while waiting!!
We took this photo in one of the waiting areas. Helen, Diana, Sonya, Mary and me. I had a different costume here, the grey/blue checked dress with a grey cardigan.
And here we were in Valletta waiting for the 'Action' call-out. I was with the lovely pink dress and big red handbag. ... just one or two scenes with this dress!
Hope I didn't bore you with all my photos, but I just had to post as don't want to forget this exciting experience. Can't wait for the film to come out next year now... fingers crossed I will be able to see myself. They were saying all the filming in Malta will just be about 15mins from the whole film... so very difficult to see myself... I will just have to keep on hoping he he
Well I'm off to do some blog hopping now as got lots of housework for tomorrow but got a card .. and drawing my candy winners as well.
