Put a Button On It

It's a Public Holiday here in Malta today, and a nice and sunny day too, so off we went out for lunch in Marsaxlokk. Really enjoyed it :) .. back home I realised that I still hadn't uploaded my DT Card for today as today it's a new challenge at

The theme for this week is to add button.. or more on your projects.

For those who know me, will know that I very rarely add buttons on my cards as I don't manage to like them much.. so wasn't an easy challenge for me.. but well finally I added two buttons, which unfortunately my eyes still don't like that much ha ha :P 

To do my card this week I used a Martha Stewart border punch, for the pretty pink flowers I used my new Impressions Obsession Daisy die and for the leaves another die.. DieNamics I think. Butterfly was from an old card.. shop bought of course and the beautiful image, Serenity, is from our sponsor for this week, Just Inklined. Lucky girls we were each given a free image to use to make our cards yay :)

Hi everyone, I'm so late with my DT Card today! Actually I'm late with lots of other things.. but one by one I'll be there, better late than never.. Anyway for now it's time for my DT card for the new challenge that started today at

The theme for today is

The Letter B

so you just have to add as many things as you can to your card that start with the letter B!

As for me I managed to add these that start with the letter B... Blue, Boats, Bucket, Bear and Brads.

The image that I used on my card is Teddy Jack with Bucket which I colored with my promarkers.

A Black and White card

Good morning everyone.. a nice sunny here today in Malta finally.. but still we decided not to go to Gozo today.. much to my dismay :(  Hubby thought it best we stay home and not go out all day long as our older son will tomorrow be starting his A Level exams :(  Was so looking forward to go and to meet up with Pam and Lorraine again.. .. the sacrifices we do for our kids!!! 

Anyway.. thought I would share a card today that I was asked to do by a friend. Two friends of hers were opening a boutique and wanted a card to congratulate them and this is what I came up with..

Didn't have any nice ladies fashionable stamps, so decided to go for silhouettes .. thinking that black and white is in at the moment :)

Both the skyline and the leaves flourish (from which I cut out the flowers) are Memory Box dies, the corner die is DieNamics, while the square die.. to resemble a shop window, is a Spellbinders.

A Krafty Christmas

As planned, we took the day off today to be with Pam and her hubby, but we had to cancel going to Gozo as it was still so windy. We instead went to Wied iz-Zurrieq and to Hagar Qim and Mnajdra Temples, which we still enjoyed of course. We're hoping for a nice day on Sunday to go to Gozo on that day instead.. so fingers crossed for that :)

The theme for this month is to make a krafty Christmas card.. I've never used kraft on my cards before so for me this was such a difficult theme... but only managed this!

Still love how it turned out ... The image is from Crissy's Digis of Whimsy Stamps which I coloured with my promarkers, beautiful border die is from Crafty Sentiments and the gorgeous poinsettia dies are from Spellbinders.

Square Card with Something Round on it!

Good morning everyone. It's not a nice day here in Malta today, in fact it's been cloudy since Monday and now it's windy as well, expecting rain as well :( Me and hubby had planned to take the day off tomorrow to go to Gozo with Pam, who is in Malta for this week with her hubby for a holiday, so I am really so disappointed! Of course, we're still meeting Pam, but still not sure if to go to Gozo or not yet!

Pastel Colors

Good evening everyone. I'm so late today with my DT card! Back from work I had a little nap as I was so tired and then after preparing dinner I rushed off to the Bokwa fitness class which I go during the week! Obviously I didn't manage to post my card ...

Anyway here I am now, better late than never, and my card for today I made it for the new challenge which started today at I ♥ Promarkers.

I love pastel colours, so this was an easy challenge for me .. even though I have a mojo crisis at the moment!! Yes, I haven't been crafting a lot lately as I've been so busy with all the kids' taxi driving I have and the fitness classes I am going.
